What Is BabbleOn Chat?
It is a chat system based on the virtual places client. Features include
custom picture avatars, animated and sound gestures, Webpage based
rooms, private messaging, touring rooms with friends, avatar pairing,
global friend searching, room directorys and much more... bottomline is,
once your hooked no other chat will satisfy you as much again!
How Do I Get There?
First you must have the free chat client program
that you must download
and install in order to join in the fun. We highly recommend you use the old
excite (build 163) version of the program. Altho the client was made for the
now closed excite chat system it will work on other systems also with a few
changes in the preferences. Check the links below for downloads, but make

I Have It Installed Now What?
First thing you must do is change the default community server address in the
communitys list. Click on Tools > Communitys as show in the screenshot below:
Once you have that open you should see a window called community servers
Enter the following information: Community Name: BabbleOn!
Server address: babbleon.d2g.com
Now Click On Add, Then select the new server from the list, Then click on
Set Default... it should look like this:
Now click on connect, and you should connect to the server and come to a login
page...most times you can just enter any username/sn and pass you want and
log right in an start chatting, example- s/n: WildOne22 pass: xxxxxxx
Nicknames may only start with letters and can only contain dots,dashes,underscores
numbers and letters, spaces should be avoided, and no spaces in passwords are
allowed... due to high security and anti-bot measures you may occasionally get an
error message on login or get kicked back to the login page, make sure you have a
proper nickname an password to use and just re-enter it an try again.
Once you are logged into the main roompicker/chatpicker you can choose any room you
wish to goto or website and it will become a room. you may want to find the link to
the community helpdesk and request information on how to change your avatar and play
gestures.
